How to enable indicators

Turn on the indicators your app needs from Goodsted's library.

Written by Sevgi Sairoglu Sezginer

Indicators are the atomic units you measure against - for example Volunteering hours, Attendance hours or Cash donated. Goodsted provides a library of indicators. This article shows an admin how to enable the ones you need.

How it works

You can find the indicators list in the admin panel Settings > Data & Categories > Indicators section. You can't create your own indicators - you enable or disable each one from the library for your app, from an Indicators panel with a toggle-and-save flow. Each indicator carries a unit and a tracking mode, which decides whether measures built on it are logged automatically or by hand.

📌 Note: If you think an indicator is missing, do let us know by contacting us from support@goodsted.com.
