The directorate filter lets you focus the Overview report on one part of your organisation. This article shows how to use it.
Where to find the filter
Go to the Admin Panel > Overview report. The directorate filter dropdown sits next to the date range filter.
Filtering by directorate
Select a directorate to see data for that directorate only. By default the report shows All directorates.
📝 Note: If your app uses custom terminology, the filter will reflect it - for example "Branches" or "Divisions" instead of "Directorates."
Combining with the date range
You can combine the directorate filter with the date range filter to see, for example, one directorate's activity over a specific period.
Clearing the filter
Set the dropdown back to All directorates to clear it.
If a directorate has no data
If the selected directorate has no data for the period, the report still renders - with zero values plus an info banner letting you know there's nothing to show.
📝 Note: The filter uses current directorate membership. If a member moved between directorates during the period, their data appears under their current directorate.
