When donation approval is switched on, logged donations wait for an admin's decision before they count. This article shows how to approve or decline them.
📝 Note: This article only applies when donation approval is turned on for your app. See How to set donation approval permissions to switch it on.
Where pending donations appear
Pending donations appear in the Donation Logs admin listing.
The row actions
Pending row: a green tick (Approve) and a red cross (Decline) appear inline, plus a three-dot menu with Edit and Delete.
Approved or Declined row: only the three-dot menu is shown.
Approving or declining
Click the tick to approve or the cross to decline. A confirmation popup appears for each.
📝 Note: Members are not notified automatically - inform them manually if needed. Self-approval is allowed (an admin can approve a donation they logged themselves). Approved or declined donations can't be changed back to Pending.
