There are a couple of areas where you can find the log engagement button in the platform.

My Profile

  • Under the My Profile dropdown, click on Log engagement.

Log your Hours

  • Enter the hours completed, and the date & time.

  • You can either select the related opportunity if it's saved to the platform or skip that section and add the details of the opportunity that you complete outside of the platform.

  • If the opportunity is outside the platform, you'll be redirected to the 'Who did you support?' question.

Choose the Organisation Supported

  • You can then choose if it is from an organisation that's already registered to the platform.

  • If the organisation is not registered to the platform, then you can choose "Click here" and add the details of the organisation.

  • These details should include:

    • Organisation name

    • Organisation type

    • Organisation's contact name

    • Organisation's contact email

  • You need to choose the cause that you contributed to so that you can continue submitting your engagement.

Choose the Cause Contributed

  • This will redirect you to the "What did you do?" question where you can explain the actions you took.

Explain Volunteering Details

  • Lastly, if there are any photos from the volunteering activities you complete, you can add them on the last page and then submit the form.

๐Ÿ’ก Notes:

  • You can also log the engagement from the Activity section or the participated opportunity's actions column.

  • If the logged engagement needs approval, then users will need to wait for admin or opportunity lead approvals to finalize their engagement. Check out this article to learn more.

  • Users can also log their engagement when they complete their volunteering activity and fill in the feedback form.

  • If an opportunity is inside the platform and has a specific start date and end date, then once the opportunity is completed by the opportunity lead, users who completed their duties will have automatic engagement logs on their profiles.
