Create a group

Creating a group on Goodsted gives you a unique page for your community project, organisation, or collective through which you can communicate your mission and purpose, and the social and environmental causes you’re aiming to progress, as well as specify the impact goals you’re looking to achieve.

You will be prompted to create a group upon registration, however you can also do so anytime by clicking on your profile photo, and selecting 'Create a group' in the drop-down menu.

💡 Note: Your registration will need to be approved by the platform administrator. We will reach out to schedule a time to meet and learn more about you - just to make sure your ethos and values are in line with those of the community.

Once your registration is approved, you will be able to login to the platform!

Engage members

Your group will also serve as a space for you to engage and communicate with your members. You can either invite members to join your group from the ‘invite members’ button on your page, or share the link to your page to ask them to join.

💡 Note: Members will only be able to request to join your group if you set your group setting to “semi-private”. Making your group private, means members can only join upon invitation, and the “join” button will be hidden from your page.
