How to manage Opportunity Types

You can control which opportunity types your members can post. This article shows an admin where to manage them.

Go to the Admin Panel and open (Settings › Data & Categories), then the Opportunity Types section.

Switch each opportunity type on or off for your app. The types are Volunteering, Learning, Funding and In-kind donation. A type you switch off won't appear on the Post Opportunity form or in the Type filter.

📌 Note: "Sponsorship" has been renamed to Funding. It's the same opportunity type - only the name has changed.

⚠️ Important: The In-kind donation and Funding types are interlocked with the Log Donations setting. Neither type can be on while Log Donations is off - turning either type on will turn Log Donations on, and you can't turn Log Donations off while either type is in use.
