It’s important to introduce yourself when joining the community. This makes it much easier to connect with others!

Your individual profile includes the following sections:

  1. Photo / Name / Location

  2. About you

  3. Your resources

  4. Your interests

  5. Languages

1. Photo / Name/ Location

  • We recommend that you include a headshot photo so that other members can recognise you.

  • Your first and last name will appear on your profile, but we only use your first name in all other platform interactions.

  • Your location can either be at the city level, or if you’d like to engage at a more local level you can add your borough/area!

2. About you

  • This section is for you to give us a bit of background about yourself, your experience and why you signed up to the platform!

3. Your resources

  • This section is for your to note which skills you have, and which skills you would be open to volunteering. Very soon, we will be able to start recommending opportunities that suit your skills!

  • Here, you can also add which products (if any) you’d like to donate, or if you have any spaces you’d like to make available for temporary loan.

Note: We’re not yet focusing on these types of resources as there are many considerations that come into place if we do, however we are keeping them open to see if our members are interested. So, if you're interested in donating products or space, please do add them 🤗

4. Your interests

  • We would love to hear from you what causes you're interested in, so please add those in, so that we can also recommend opportunities you're passionate about!

5. Languages

  • This section is just for you to mention which languages you're comfortable speaking, so that we can match you with any relevant opportunities that come up!
